Registration for both football and cheer are done through our registration page on our site. If it is your first time registering, you will be asked to make a TeamSnap account before filling out the form.

The registration fees of our 2022 Offseason Clinics, 2022 Flag Football, 2022 Tackle Football & Cheerleading will be posted when they are available.
All division age and weight requirements are as follows:
Mighty Mites: Age 5-7 years of age on or before November 1 of current year.
Weight limit of 120 pounds. There are no play downs from Division 1 allowed.
Division 1: Age 8-9 years of age on or before November 1 of current year. Weight
limit of 120 pounds.
Division 2: Age 10-11 years of age on or before November 1 of current year.
Weight limit of 135 pounds.
Division 3: Age 12-13 years of age on or before November 1st of current year and
14-year old’s who turn 14 on or after August 1st of current year. However, no
player shall enter the 9th grade during the season. Weight limit of 161 pounds.
All divisions are allowed 3 pounds for required pant, girdle, knee, thigh, tail, hip
Players must weigh within 10 pounds of the maximum weight for division in order
to have any contact with another player during practice.
All of our Football and Cheer Practices are held at our Home Field, Lasser Park. For games, 4 of our games are played at our Home Field and 4 of our games are played at Away Fields. The teams and locations are determined by the OCYFL when the 2022 Schedule is released in late August.
Practice schedules vary by division and the coach's discretion.
Games will be on Saturdays or Sundays at both home and away fields.
Kids will be provided with a helmet, shoulder pads, practice and game pants, and a practice jersey. These items will all be returned to the league at the end of the season.
Personalized game jersey is included in the registration fee and kept by the players.
Additional equipment needed to be purchased are:

Only you as parents can determine whether your child is ready. Some of the things to consider include the time commitment (usually three practices a week and a game), and attentiveness of your child. Can they stay focused for a one and half or two hour practice and will other extracurricular activities create too many conflicts?
Yes, WYFCL has raffles and other fund raisers that are usually to help reimburse parents a portion of their registration fees. This will be disclosed to you on the 2022 Registration Form. Fundraisers in our organization are intended to benefit the Parents and the WYFCL.
There are no tryouts. Our teams are built through the registration process.
Yes. WYCFL and the OCYFL requires players to receive a medical physical examination annually prior to participation. The decision if a player is healthy enough to begin participation is up to the parent and the player's physician.
